Grammy-winning artist and America’s worship leader Chris Tomlin sold-out Bridgestone Arena again Friday night for the milestone 10th Anniversary of ‘Good Friday Nashville’. Good Friday Nashville continues its reign as the longest-running annual charity-related concert at Bridgestone Arena. The annual Good Friday Nashville event began in 2017 and has continued each year, including virtually through a worldwide stream during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
With what has become an annual tradition, Chris again surprised the sold out arena with surprise guests including Jordan Davis, Michael W. Smith, Brooke Ligertwood, David Nasser, and the Choir Room.
Good Friday Nashville has become known for its surprise moments. Over the years, special appearances have included Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, Phil Wickham, Rascal Flatts, Lady A, Lauren Daigle, CeCe Winans, Willie Robertson, and many others.
“There’s something about Good Friday… remembering the Cross, the incredible love, mercy, grace and forgiveness of Jesus. When we come together to remember… how could we not worship?” said Tomlin. “Thank you to all who have been a part of Good Friday Nashville… this year and the last 10 years! All the surprise guests, everyone listening in on radio, the team, Bridgestone Arena, and all the people who have joined in person!
“Spending this night together each year, all streams of the church, is one of my greatest privileges. For 10 years now, it has become a tradition for so many people, so many families… including my own. I am excited for Year 11!”
During the concert, Chris announced tickets for ‘Good Friday Nashville’ 2027 were now available and over the weekend, have already sold over 75% of the tickets. The event always sells out - get your tickets here www.christomlin.com.
‘Good Friday Nashville’ is promoted by Awakening Events who have enjoyed a 20-year touring relationship with Chris and generously donate their time, energy, and resources to this concert each year. ‘Good Friday Nashville’ is presented by K-LOVE, Air1 and WAY-FM.
