Grammy-award winning artist Chris Tomlin had a record-breaking week with the release of his 18th album The King Is Still The King with the largest global streaming week of his 25+ year career (9/26/26-10/2/26). The King Is Still The King is Billboard’s No. 1 Top Christian/Gospel Album this week.
“Never would I have dreamed after so many albums released that this would be my biggest streaming week yet,” said Chris. “This is incredibly special to me. All I've ever wanted to do is help give people a voice to worship God. It’s why I write songs and why I always pray that they connect with people and help them in their relationship with God.”

“What I love the most in this moment is that the title of the new album is The King is Still the King. Worship reminds us of the greater story. It lifts our eyes off ourselves and our circumstances, and it reminds us that our hope is in an everlasting kingdom and everlasting King… and that ‘The King is Still the King.’
“Also, there are no lone rangers here,” Chris adds. “Music is a team sport. I am blessed to have an amazing team that puts their heart and soul into this music like I do. Thank you and congratulations to each of you!”
"We’ve had a long and fruitful partnership with Chris and we’re so proud to see him hit this milestone," said Brad O' Donnell, President, Capitol Christian Music Group. "It’s an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the impact his songs have on people around the world. And now with the release of The King Is Still the King, it’s clear that there is still much more ahead and we look forward to an even brighter future together."
