Night 2 was spectacular. Again another first. The first time for any of us to visit Ottawa. Had a nice afternoon walking around and checking out the Parliament buildings. I believe the building in the pic is called the Peace Tower. (don’t hate if i’m wrong on that one)
We all leave tonight carrying Ottawa in our hearts. What an incredible night. I felt from the first chord to the last moments of “God of this City,” the entire place was on fire. Speaking of “God of this City” seems feels like the right song to end each night. Wasn’t planning it that way, but just can’t help out. We are believing in faith for greater things for these cities of Canada.
I must say that my favorite moment tonight was singing “i will rise.” Really special.
We are on to Toronto tonight. It’s been quite a while since i have been in this city. Looking forward to another great night.
Thanks Ottawa for one to remember!
Chris
Bonsoir!
What a night in Montreal! This was my first time to step on the soil of this great city, much less play a concert. Had no idea what to expect, but the night was full of amazing people. Earlier in the day I had lunch in old town Montreal. Streets made of bricks! I love that stuff. It was a little cold for a southerner i must say.
This was the first night of our quick run through our northern neighbor country. It was a great start. Joining us on this tour is Kristian Stanfill. He literally knocked it out of the park tonight. Kristian is worship leader along with me at Passion City Church. As well, his first cd came out earlier this year with us at sixsteps records.
My favorite memory of tonight was singing “how great is our God” in French. thus the title of this blog. I think we could have sung it all night. The French language has to be the most beautiful. Thanks to everyone here tonight for giving me grace with the language!
We are on to Ottawa tonight!
Chris
