The album is FABULOUS….I’ve loved “Glory in the Highest” since “See The Morning”, but hearing it in this Christmas arrangement makes it even more special. I’ll be listening to this CD year-round!
I went to the next county (closest Christian bookstore available) as soon as the store opened to get the new CD. So far, it’s fantastic! Glory in the Highest is one of my favorites of yours, and I love the new verse. The large number of background vocals really adds to it. Good call Chris!! And you can’t go wrong with Matt and Christy pinch hitting. I predict this will be at the top of my Christmas favorites.

Got your new Christmas album over the weekend. I love it so much I can’t even tell you what song is my favorite. I cried all the way through Emmanuel. It is beautiful! This album has something for everyone. It has new songs from you, Matt Redman, and I love Winter Snow by Audrey Assad. It has traditional Christmas music presented in a new way. It is a very exciting CD to listen to and makes me focus on the upcoming Christmas event celebrating Christ’s coming and not think about the shopping and all the other preparation that takes us away from the “realness” of Christmas. I am so looking forward to this coming Christmas season and celebrating with my family and friends.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

I went to the next county (closest Christian bookstore available) as soon as the store opened to get the new CD. So far, it’s fantastic! Glory in the Highest is one of my favorites of yours, and I love the new verse. The large number of background vocals really adds to it. Good call Chris!! And you can’t go wrong with Matt and Christy pinch hitting. I predict this will be at the top of my Christmas favorites.

Got your new Christmas album over the weekend. I love it so much I can’t even tell you what song is my favorite. I cried all the way through Emmanuel. It is beautiful! This album has something for everyone. It has new songs from you, Matt Redman, and I love Winter Snow by Audrey Assad. It has traditional Christmas music presented in a new way. It is a very exciting CD to listen to and makes me focus on the upcoming Christmas event celebrating Christ’s coming and not think about the shopping and all the other preparation that takes us away from the “realness” of Christmas. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. i demanded that instead of going by to sleep this am, that i spend some hours in my usual way, before kid had chance to wake.
read beautiful words, all the way around! so beautiful. yet still seemed like mixed messages. sent him away, jumping into next situation… yet others so declaring! anyway. …
it came after balking at “willfully being blind of all He has done.” natural reaction kicked in. till i kicked it out w/ accepting the words and asking God for forgiveness for the willfully being blind. in that moment i realized.
“oh my gosh, it’s the transfer of power”
within me the power is transferring from God to man. it is this major change that needs so much energy. what was thot to happen for decades was finally happening. it was finally time to submit. finally one was worthy.
but i think some inner stuff is finding it a bit hard to navigate in these waters maybe. a learning curve perhaps?
or more likely, a relinquishing problem. a power/control prob within. well, it’ll be dealt with. but never for a second do i think i am worthy of men so beautiful in every way. but neither did i feel worthy of God either:)
i surely hope things are going easier for each of you. tho i’d guess you’re trying to figure your own stuff out as well.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
